Gary Lithgow has been a professional guitarist/vocalist for the last 30 years.
In the early 80's Gary formed his first band, The Minor Change, with two school friends . They played local gigs in and around Edinburgh, the band subsequently known as Bluefinger.
Several bands, trios and duos later, including working with two of Edinburgh's prominent keyboard players, Lawrie Ball and Philip Alexander, Gary moved to Gran Canaria in 1998, where he presently still lives and works.
Gary now lives and works in Gran Canaria eight months of the year.He can be seen at night in the Gemini Music Bar, and some afternoons at Dunes and Tunes, an Irish music bar owned by fellow musician John Fahy.
Gary has recorded several CD's with the help of talented musicians and recording engineers, Gerry lane, Steve Fraser and Pete Peltola.
His original albums include Tequila And Beer (2007), Mexican Twist( 2009), and Last Train (in Progress, anticipated for 2015
More recently Gary has also worked for the prestigious cruise company Holland America Line
